I can’t believe it’s almost here! For some, the next few months for some are a time when they wish they could sleep from October until February. The constant reminders to the left and right of loved ones passed and gone, lights, presents, and family dinners are constant reminders of unresolved pain.
The fact is, that we are not meant to just exist and coast through the holiday season dreading each and every day. Rather, we can attempt to find ways to reach out to obtain the support we need so that we will not regress into continuous cycles of trauma and complicated grief. We can learn to smile again!
I’d like to personally invite you to join me on Thursday, November 14 and December 5 from 7pm-8:30pm for both sessions. The first session will include a discussion on Relaxing, Relating, and Releasing after Loss. Our second session will be an interactive session on The Art of Grief. We’ll use our greatest and highest forms of expression to begin the process of healing via poetry, art, songwriting, and journaling.
